Marketron Grows Its Management Team, Ups Kalman

“Ongoing efforts to accelerate the evolution” of its product suite and its business growth have led Idaho-based Marketron Broadcast Solutions to welcome a new SVP/Engineering and Regional Director for Digital Solutions. At the same time, Marketron is promoting its Vice President of Sales.

Taking the lead engineering role at Marketron is Mike Jackson. He will be based in Marketron’s office in Denver, and is charged with overseeing all of Marketron’s engineering team and efforts.

Jackson was formerly VP/Software Engineering at learning technology firm Pearson, where he oversaw global software engineering for higher education products. He has also held software leadership roles at Oracle and JD Edwards.

Also joining Marketron is Mark Weidel, as Regional Director for Digital Solutions. He joins Marketron from Steinman Enterprises, where he was GM of Digital Solutions.

Weidel experience includes a stint as GM of the interactive division at Delmarva Broadcasting Company. At Marketron, Weidel will help broadcast groups increase their digital advertising dollars through Marketron’s Pitch platform and other digital products and services.

Meanwhile, Todd Kalman has been promoted from VP/Sales to SVP/Sales. He will oversee revenue development, sales and account management across all of Marketron’s product lines. Kalman’s experience in the radio industry includes senior radio sales leadership roles at iHeartMedia and the former CBS Radio.

Kalman reports directly to Marketron CEO Michael Collins and will work alongside Deb Esayian, formerly Marketron’s Chief Revenue Officer and now SVP/Strategic Accounts.
