Howard Fischer is the Founder and CEO of Howard Fischer Associates (HFA). For 35+ years, Howard has been passionate about helping his clients identify, evaluate, and attract exceptional leaders to join their organizations.
He has consulted with CEOs, boards of directors, and senior executives on the process of executive board recruitment and succession. Clients range from Fortune 100 companies including Comcast and Amerisource Bergen to mid-sized companies such as Wawa, Penn Mutual Life Insurance, UGI, and Pepsi Cola National Brand Beverages. HFA has completed more than 2,500 leadership assignments, ranging from CEO’s to VPs and Board member searches. Howard was the founding president of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Philadelphia Chapter.
He has written numerous articles on executive and outside director search. He has a specialty in helping boards analyze their current make-up and strategically add new directors. Howard created and moderated the “CEO Leadership Forum” series in which he has interviewed more than 20 CEOs, from a wide variety of industries, on the topic of leadership. These included a CEO Leadership Forum featuring Brian Roberts, currently the Chairman and CEO of Comcast Corporation, and Steve Burke, currently the CEO of NBCUniversal.
