Industry veteran brings deep expertise in research and development and leading global product operations

CUPERTINO, Calif. – March 17, 2014 – Bromium, Inc., a pioneer in trustworthy computing, today announced the appointment of technology veteran Richard Murray as senior vice president of engineering. An accomplished leader with more than 20 years of experience, Murray will provide technical direction and guidance for all aspects of Bromium engineering.

Murray has built and led worldwide teams and taken products from inception to market for both public and venture-backed companies. Most recently, Murray was senior vice president of worldwide engineering, operations and support at Collabnet, Inc. where he ran all aspects of product development, including establishing Subversion as the world’s leading software version control product. Prior to that, Murray was vice president of engineering at Reuters America where led a number of engineering transformation initiatives as part of its Fast Forward turnaround initiative. Murray has also held executive positions at TIBCO Finance Technology.
