Eric Ferst is a Senior Principal in the Philadelphia office, serving as a partner and strategic adviser to senior executives and boards of public and private companies, collaborating to help clients identify, attract, and evaluate the best executive leaders to drive success for their unique businesses. During the last 13+ years, Eric has developed specific expertise in the full cycle of executive search, from design and management of the search process and client/candidate management, to sourcing, selection and assessment, as well as in areas including executive compensation and succession planning.
His clients range from Fortune 50 to emerging technology companies across multiple industries, such as media, telecommunications, digital, consumer and enterprise services and products and technology. Eric has completed more than 100 searches for external boards of directors and C-Level executives specifically in the areas of: general management (CEO, COO, President, GM); marketing (CMO, Marketing Communications, Media/Advertising, Branding); Sales; Finance (CFO, FP&A, M&A); IT; Engineering; and Customer Service.

Prior to joining HFA, Eric was Vice President, Client Services at Expert Business Development, LLC. He was responsible for day-to-day operations including client business development, planning, implementation, and management. Eric aided in the hiring and training of all company employees and was the primary architect of the company’s web-hosted application and internal system structure.
Eric received a Bachelor of Arts in Finance, Investment, and Banking from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
